Almost 3 years ago, after graduating from UGA, I was able to take a trip to Italy with my roommate, Bonnie. We were there for 2 weeks, visiting Rome, Florence, and Venice.  

Rome is still one of my most favorite places in the world. It is unbelievably beautiful!! Next week I get to share that with my mom, Cindy. We are visiting Rome for a few days then down to Naples, staying in Sorrento for a couple nights and traveling around the Amalfi Coast. 

After finding an amazing flight deal (thank you for the scoop, Emily!), $413 round trip from Savannah, Ga to Rome, Italy (using google flights to find the cheapest dates and locations), I asked my mom to join me. She's never been to Europe before and with tears in her eyes she agreed <3. We are in for an amazing adventure, let's do this Mom!
