He completely surprised me tonight! Mark asked our close friends Cole and Audrey to book a session with me, and at the very end they lead me to a set of photos hanging from trees. I was completely shocked when I saw it was Mark and I in the photos. They lead to one our first date spots, the Founder’s Garden. We are getting married!!
A couple days later we left for Italy! Blogging the most magical engagement trip soon <3
Thank you so much everyone!!! We appreciate every kind word! I can’t stop looking at my ring, we can’t stop making plans, and I’m still not over how he didn’t give me a single inkling! ❤️ 👏 I keep making him go over the plan to see where I missed hints 😂. He asked our friends Cole and Audrey to book a photo shoot with me, so I picked the date and time 😋 You all know my mom is ALWAYS with me at shoots, this is literally the second time ever I told her not to worry about driving to Athens, we had a wedding the next day and I knew it’d be easy peasy mini shoot with these two. So she was very very bummed when I called and told her I had just had the best session EVER 🙈. They wanted to end the shoot in the Founder’s Garden because “it was where they shared their first date” (I didn’t want to take away from that so I didn’t share that it was Mark and I’s special spot too 😂). I tried to lead them to the “spot” multiple ways, all of which were not the planned path. They kept diverting me, “no, ugh, I don’t think it’s this way” (you all know I can get bossy with a camera in hand 😂), but I went along, let them lead me, STILL not catching ANY hints. I round the corner to see a photo of Mark and I. Instantly, I realize what’s going on. And my heart SWELLS. I see more photos hanging, and I know exactly where they lead. Memories with sweet words on the back lead to Mark, my best friend getting down on one knee and asking me to marry him. Couldn’t dreamed of anything more perfect. And then we FaceTimed my sweet Granny, because she has been waiting for this for a long time 😂👏 thank you, thank you!!!
